The Heart of the Midwest
This is a VERY nice example of a '73 Mustang convertible in every way. It is ready to drive, show, and enjoy. Finished in beautiful medium copper metallic, the body is extra clean and smooth, with really nice paint and absolutely zero rust--not even a pinhole or eraser-size bubble. The car is tastefully accented with a Mach 1 hood with black inserts, new black convertible cover, satin black side mirrors, and a brand new side stripe kit. The power top is also black, and in excellent cosmetic and working condition. The optional polished forged aluminum wheels are in as-new condition, down to the black pinstripe insert and Mustang logo center caps. The Cooper Cobra radial tires are only two years old with like-new tread. Other nice details include new emblems, door handles, lock cylinders, gas cap, and rechromed rear bumper. Inside, the black interior shows very well, with no rips, tears, or stains. The dash is perfect with no cracks or issues, and the door panels, seat backs, visors, and carpet are all in very nice condition. Best of all, everything on this car works, including all lights, wipers, signals, horn, gauges, and even the factory AM/FM radio. Only the factory clock is inop. Other options include power steering, power disc brakes, and power operated top. The 302 V8 runs excellent, and the car starts first time, every time! All of the original emissions equipment is still on the car, which is nice, as it indicates the motor and trans likely have never been out of the car. The 3 speed automatic shifts great through all gears. All glass is very nice and all windows roll up and down easily and completely. The dual exhaust system is brand new as well. If you're tired of looking at mediocre classic Mustangs that need a ton more work and money put into them than you were led to believe, you really need to see this car in person. Then, drive it home. Personal/professional inspections welcomed.
