140 PHOTOS!! This is an all-numbers matching, very rare 4-speed 1968 Olds 442 Convertible. One of only 1,518 4-speeds produced, how many do you think are left with an all original drivetrain AND a rust-free all original body such as this one? The body, floors, trunk pan, and frame of this 442 are absolutely pristine. It is optioned with power steering, power top (also pristine!), factory teak wood wheel, Tic-toc-tac (works!), and original chrome Super Stock I wheels. The black interior still wears its original upholstery, door panels, and dash pad (except for the driver's seat which was replaced some time ago). I had the motor completely rebuilt a few years ago and it has about 400 break in/easy cruising miles on it. The engine bay, trunk, and chassis are fully detailed to stock, original condition. The paint is a color change, and is an outstanding plum iris metallic that garners lots of attention and is as unique as it is at home on this car. The only other modifications from stock are a Hurst shifter and a "442" am/fm radio installed in the original location. Please look over the 140 photos to see just how nice this all-numbers-matching 442 is. Aside from some touched up paint chips and other minor flaws from normal usage over the years, this car is absolutely beautiful running AND driving condition. I would trust it to be driven anywhere. Engine, clutch, transmission, brakes, and suspension operate flawlessly. Truly must be seen and driven to appreciate. Car comes with factory wheels and BFG Radial TAs, or buyer may purchase the new 18" Foose wheels and tires for $1000 extra.
